Decorations
The hotel will be decorated for the holidays Monday, December 1, 2025, through Sunday, January 4, 2026. The hotel will be adorned with hundreds of live poinsettias, thousands of twinkle lights, hundreds of yards of garland, and dozens of wreaths. Signature displays will be created on the Grand Staircase, in the Circle Drive, and in the Palm Court lobby, along with more than 20 smaller trees placed throughout the hotel. The breathtaking centerpiece, the 30-foot Christmas tree in the Rotunda, will be embellished with hundreds of oversized ornaments, bows, and baubles, along with too many white twinkle lights to count.
The annual Jefferson Gingerbread display will also be available throughout the season for guests to enjoy. This year’s theme will again be a surprise until its unveiling on Monday, December 1, but we can promise all the delightful smells of freshly baked gingerbread and royal icing, the impeccable details created by hundreds of pounds of individually placed candies, and the sweet memories that you have enjoyed in years past.
Holiday PackageS
Back by popular demand, we are celebrating the season with a Holidays at The Jefferson Weekend Package. Enjoy the décor and the festive holiday vibe all weekend long, along with exclusive early access to The Jefferson’s signature holiday dining event reservations. Your holiday weekend package will include:
- A spacious grand premier guest room for Friday and Saturday evening
- A three-course dinner for two (excluding alcohol) in Lemaire on your choice of Friday or Saturday evening
- Holiday Champagne Sunday Brunch for two
- Complimentary self-parking for two nights
- Commemorative Jefferson Hotel holiday ornament
- $1,475.00 per package
Package valid December 5 & 6, 12 & 13, 19 & 20, 26 & 27 and January 2 & 3 only. Friday and Saturday night stay are required. Package components have no cash value and may not be substituted or altered. Advance reservations will be offered on a space available basis between July 16 and August 29, 2025. Dining reservations will automatically be cancelled upon cancellation of room reservations. Dinner and brunch are inclusive of gratuity. Dining seating times will be confirmed at time of package reservation and are based upon availability. Taxes are additional.

Lemaire Holiday Dining
Throughout the holiday season, Lemaire Restaurant will be serving dinner and cocktails daily.
Groups of 10 or more guests are invited to contact Melissa at 804-649-4618 for assistance with private dining events.
Thanksgiving: Guests will have their choice of a traditional Thanksgiving four-course holiday menu or select items from the a la carte dinner menu. Seatings are available from 1 pm – 8 pm.
Christmas Eve and Christmas Day: Holiday specials and the regular a la carte dinner menu will be offered. Seatings are available from 5 pm – 9 pm on Christmas Eve and 1 pm – 8 pm on Christmas Day. Lemaire Bar will close at 10 pm on Christmas Eve.
New Year’s Eve: Celebratory specials and the regular a la carte dinner menu will be served on New Year’s Eve with seatings from 5 pm – 10 pm. Lemaire Bar will be serving from 4 pm – 12:30 am and seating will be offered first come, first served.
Reservations for Lemaire dining may be made on-line through OpenTable or by calling 804-649-4629. Advance reservations are required for all guests. Overnight guests are invited to call for holiday breakfast reservations or to request those at the time of making a room reservation.
TJ’s Holiday Dining
TJ’s Dining Room serve lunch from 11 am – 3 pm and dinner from 5 pm – 9 pm Monday through Saturday, including Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve. Advance reservations are required.
TJ’s Bar and Lounge will be serving beverages and light snacks from 3 pm – 10 pm Monday through Saturday. Enjoy the view of the tree while sipping a festive cocktail or mocktail, a draft from your favorite local brewery, or one of our curated wines by the glass. Seating in the bar and lounge will be offered first come, first served.
TJ’s will be closed on Sundays and on Christmas Day. Lunch will not be served on Thanksgiving Day and TJ’s will be open from 12 pm – 5 pm on New Year’s Day.
Holiday Brunch at The Jefferson
Holiday Brunch will be served on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day, along with all Sundays during the holiday season. Please review all the information below before proceeding to the Book Now button at the bottom of this section as some information may have changed.

Seating
Brunch reservation times are 10:30 am, 11:00 am, 1:00 pm and 1:30 pm. Each reservation has a two-hour seating limit.
Brunch seating is available in three areas:
- The Rotunda, which is the area at the bottom of the Grand Staircase with the buffet around its perimeter.
- TJ’s Lounge, which is a more intimate space located next to the Rotunda. Please note that some seating in TJ’s Lounge is raised by two steps.
- The Mezzanine, which is the balcony overlooking the Rotunda. Guests can use the elevator or the Grand Staircase to visit the buffet.
Menu
Our Executive Banquet Chef and his team feature the freshest local seasonal ingredients as they craft holiday-inspired menus each week of the season. Stations include made-to-order omelets, breakfast items, carving station, soup station, Virginia seafood display, lunch items, fruit and cheese display and a decadent display of desserts and miniature confections.
Valet parking is also available in the hotel's main entrance at 101 W Franklin Street for $18.00 per car.
Dress Code
There is no dress code for brunch. Guests are invited to dress as they are most comfortable, but you will find that most of our guests prefer to dress up for the occasion.
Payment and Cancellations
Full payment is required at the time of booking the reservation. Cancellations and changes to the number of guests on all reservations must be received seven (7) days prior to your reservation to receive a refund of your prepayment.
Reservation Tips:
Reservations must be made online for groups of 12 and under. Unfortunately, our team will not be able to assist you with making reservations via telephone, social media, email, or in person.
- Groups requesting reservations for parties of 13+, please call 804-649-4662 or email [email protected]for assistance.
- Online reservations will open exactly 90 days prior to each reservation date, including the day of your reservation, at 8:00 am EST.
- Please have your credit card ready to complete your online booking. Your credit card will be charged for your holiday brunch experience at the time the reservation is made.
- Reservations are non-transferable.
- Brunches are only served on Sunday except for Christmas Day and Thanksgiving Day.
- Cancellations and reservation changes, based upon availability, can also be made via Tock prior to the seven-day cancellation cutoff and based on availability.
Once all reservations have been booked for a brunch, you will be provided the opportunity to be placed on a waitlist via Tock.
Holiday Teas
Holiday Tea is served from Friday, November 29, 2025, through Saturday, January 3, 2026, with Holiday Chocolate Lovers Tea served on Fridays and Saturdays. Please review all the information below before proceeding to the Book Now button at the bottom of this section as some information may have changed.
Holiday tea will not be served on the following dates: December 4, 6 (for Santa Tea), 10, 13 and 18 (for Santa Tea), Christmas Day, or New Year’s Day.

Santa Tea will be served on Saturday, December 6, and Thursday, December 18, from 12 pm – 2 pm. Reservations will open online at 8 am on Tuesday, September 30.
PRICING FOR SANTA TEA
Adults and children 4 and older: $85.00
Children 3 and under: $25.00
A gluten-free menu is available at an additional charge of $6.00 per person. Peanut or dairy free menus are also available at an additional charge of $4.00 per person. Please select these menus at the time of booking online.
Reservations for holiday teas will open online at 8:00 am EST exactly 90 days in advance of the reservation date.
Payment and Cancellations

- Online reservations will open at 8:00 am EST exactly 90 days prior for all tea reservations. If you are logged in prior to 8 am, you will need to refresh your browser.
- Please have your credit card ready to complete your online booking. Your credit card will be charged for your afternoon tea experience at the time the reservation is made. You have 10 minutes to complete your reservation.
- Please start with the TOTAL number of guests, including all children. You will have the opportunity to select the correct menu for each person.
- Please scroll down to Holiday Afternoon Tea or Holiday Chocolate Lover's Tea (for every Friday and Saturday, as well as Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve) for the correct calendar to populate.
- Reservations are booked by table. If you and your guest book separately, you will be at separate tables.
- These are timed reservations. Tables of five or less have 1.5 hours. Tables of six or more have 2 hours.
- Reservation changes can be made via Tock prior to the seven-day reschedule cutoff and based upon availability.
- Holiday tea is not served on Sunday.
- Once all reservations have been filled for a particular day, you will be provided the opportunity to be placed on a waitlist via Tock. Click on the notify button and fill in your contact information.
- Guests requesting reservations for parties of 21 or more must call 804-649-4710 to book.

Holiday Gift Cards
The Jefferson Hotel gift cards make the perfect holiday gift for the food lovers and travel enthusiasts on your list. Gift cards are available in any denomination and never expire.
Gift cards are also available for purchase in Gators Gifts during normal business hours.
Holiday Photography
We ask that guests taking personal photos during the holiday season please be respectful of those around them. Guests creating an unsafe or uncomfortable experience for other guests will be asked to please move to another area of the hotel to capture their holiday images.
Professional photography is not permitted.
